The Wild Atlantic Way is right on your doorstep and one can enjoy a fantastic day in beautiful Connemara with it’s amazing scenery known the world over. The Aran Islands too are just a short stop away and any of the three islands can be accessed via a short ferry from Rossaveal, only 30 minutes drive from the hotel. Galway City then is only a ten minute drive where one can enjoy the City of the Tribes and soak up the atmosphere of this buzzing city.

There are a multitude of activities to enjoy including water sports, golf, fishing, adventure activities, hiking, walking, cycling and so much more and we can help you with your plans. We have mapped walks of the area and have in depth knowledge of the best beaches to go to. Salthill is also a short 10 minute drive away and here there is a lot of family entertainment available with the Summer Fair at Leisureland, Atlantaquarium, Salthill beaches and of course iconic Blackrock Diving Tower.

If enjoying good food and wine is your thing, other than our own offerings at the hotel which are fantastic, we can certainly recommend some great eateries, restaurants and cafes in the vicinity which will not disappoint. It’s important to note also that we have the fabulous Coast Club Leisure Centre at the hotel where an 18 meter heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna can all be enjoyed after a work out in our gym but if you really want to kick back, why not book a time in our outdoor hot tub which has fabulous views of Galway Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
